28. REINHARD REITZENSTEIN

BUFFALO, NY / TORONTO, ONTARIO

“Add a Little to a Little and There Will be a Great Heap”, is an allegorical nod to the idea of metamorphoses, changing bodies, and transformation. Roots and discs of tree trunks shift context into an architectural construct through metamorphosis.

Reinhard’s work has consistently explored ways to interconnect nature, culture, science and technology crossing several disciplines: installation and sculpture, photography, drawing, outdoor tree-based installations, and sound art.
