Within the mysterious confines of a janitors closet, the artist creates an urgent call for action. Cataclysmic effects of climate change and related events are devasting. The poignant tableau asks, "do we possess the boldness and ingenuity to act with the required urgency, or will our fate follow that of the canary."

Bethany Krull is a Buffalo based sculptor whose porcelain and mixed media animal sculptures aim to illustrate the complex and often complicated relationship humans maintain with the rest of the natural world.
